Three accused have been arrested. Police received information that a villa in Green Vision, Arpora being used by the accused who were accepting IPL bets over mobile phones. The accused persons include Shakti Punjabi, Vishal Ahuja and Hitesh Keshwani, all residents of Gandhidham, Gujarat. These bets were being entered on a high-tech computer software installed on their laptop. Further investigation has revealed that the trio had accepted bets throughout the ongoing IPL season of over Rs 1.17cr from their customers based in Gujarat.
