The exercise presided by a Cabinet minister in each of the 12 talukas received a good response as citizens raised their grievances over various issues A QUEPEM s part of the two-day Prashasan Tumchea Dari programme, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant interacted with and heard the grievances of the local elected representatives and the general public of Quepem taluka at the Quepem Municipal Hall on Friday. He listened to the general public individually and asked administrative officers to address their issues. While addressing the public, Sawant said that under the Sarkar Tumchea Dari and Swayampurna Goa initiative, administrative officers are present at every panchayat and municipality every Saturday to assist the general public. "There are water supply issues affecting people and we have to find out if we have natural resources like water bodies available in Mormugao taluka. In case there are water bodies available, they can be put to use to tackle water scarcity issues,” said Gaude.
