The chief minister said that the government will also make it mandatory for owners of such dogs to submit an affidavit taking full responsibility for any incidents. In a tragic incident, a 7-year-old boy lost his life on Thursday after being attacked by a Pit bull at a residence in Anjuna where his mother was employed as a housekeeper. According to the IMD Goa, the State received an actual average rainfall of 3,923.9 mm (154.48 inches) from June 1 to August 31, compared to the normal average of 2,689.3 mm (105.87 inches) – a 45.9 per cent surplus.
